Computing & Information Technology launched DeskTech, a desktop technology service and support group that stations agents across campus, to provide personal and customized support to Wayne State schools and colleges, departments, and units.
The sub-unit of C&IT customer service supports the daily basics of computer maintenance, but they also implement off-site software updates, provide additional protection against viruses and malware, and even supply brand new computers every four years as a part of their refresh program.
