How do I delete the WSU network from my iOS device?

Once you have completed the setup of WSU-SECURE, it is encouraged that you delete the other Wayne State University networks from your device to ensure it always chooses the faster and safer WSU-SECURE. Follow the steps below to remove other WSU networks from an iOS (Apple) device.

  1. Go to the Settings application and select the Wi-Fi settings.
  2. Tap the i next to the network you wish to remove. C&IT advises removing the SSID (network name) WSU and any other WSU networks if you have them.

  3. Click Forget this Network at the top of the network information page.

  4. Confirm your decision.

  5. The networks will still appear when you are within range of them, but your device will not connect to them. You can reconnect to them at any point in the future if need be.
