Don't get tricked: Cyber attacks are no treat

National Cyber Security Awareness month is wrapping up, but the fright never ends. The scariest thing this Halloween is a compromised account. Treat yourself to these simple security steps, or may find yourself tricked by cyber attackers.

  • A strong password is your best defense against the unknown. Follow C&IT's Strong Password Standard to protect yourself. 
  • Don't get stuck in the web of unsafe browsing. Always check URLs for HTTPS and the padlock icon to know you're in a safe place.
