How do I update my SPSS license?

If you have purchased a license for SPSS, you must enter the code into your software. Follow the steps below to update your SPSS license.

• Click on the start menu and under All Programs click on the folder labeled IBM SPSS Statistics to expand it.
• Select the IBM SPSS Statistics License Authorization Wizard.
• When the wizard starts, it will show a summary of your current license status.
• Click Next.
• Select the radio button next to License my product now and click Next.
• Enter the code for the version of SPSS you are trying to license and click Next.
• The wizard will display either Successfully processed all codes or an error.
  • If an error is displayed:
    • Click Copy Status and paste the status into a document.
    • Call the C&IT Help Desk for help with the error.
  • If the transaction was successful:
    • Click Next.
• Your updated license status will be displayed.
• Click Finish and run SPSS to verify everything is working correctly.
