What applications are not well-suited for virtualization?

The following applications are not well-suited for virtualization.

 

• Some computation and/or transaction-intensive applications.
• Large database servers or data warehouse applications.
• Vendor products that are not certified to run on Vmware.

 

C&IT recommends that you consult with application vendors or your system administrators to determine if it is suitable for virtualization.
