Computers and more

• Apple: Wayne State University students, faculty, and staff may visit the Apple Store for Wayne State to find special pricing. Products may be tested wherever Apple computers are sold.
• Dell: Dell offers special prices on computer hardware for students, faculty and staff.

Amazon Prime Student

Students with a @wayne.edu or @med.wayne.edu email address can sign up for a six-month free trial of Amazon Prime Student. After the trial, you are eligible to subscribe to Amazon Prime at a discounted rate for the next four years. Amazon Prime Students will have access to all Amazon Prime benefits.

Current Amazon Prime members that sign-up for Prime Student will receive a refund for the remaining months left on their Amazon Prime subscription.

Best Buy

Students can visit the Best Buy student discount page for discounts on computers, tablets, calculators, and more. Discounts are changed peiodically to provide students with year-round access to savings.

The following service providers offer special discounts for Wayne State University employees and/or students.

AT&T

Employees

• 17 percent discount on qualifying plans.
• Government level equipment pricing on new activations and eligible upgrades via the Premier ordering portal.
• 20 percent discount on some devices and accessories.
• Access to business class customer service 800-331-0500.

Refer to the AT&T Employee Discount Flyer for more information. To obtain these discounts, employees must take proof of their employment to any corporate-owned retail location in the U.S. and request that FAN number 2387450 be added to the their account. The retail staff will then obtain a copy of the proof of employment for auditing requirements and attach the discount to the employee account. Employees may also visit att.com/wireless/waynestateuniversity and follow the instructions that are sent to their wayne.edu domain email address to take advantage of the offering. AT&T also offers a special deal for international students. T-Mobile

• Employees: T-Mobile offers Wayne State employees a $10/month discount on unlimited plans for two new lines for 20 months. View the T-Mobile discount flyer (PDF).You will need to verify your employment to claim your discount and ensure you qualify.

Verizon

• Employees: Employees are eligible for discounts on shared data plans and basic phone line plans. Unlimited data plans are not eligible for an employee discount. You can find more details in Verizon's corporate employee discount FAQ.
• Students: Wayne State students are eligible for discounts on Verizon's unlimited plans for up to two phone lines. You can find more details in Verizon's student discount FAQ.

Employee accessories and peripherals

The WSU Procurement department has a source for departmental purchases of technology accessories and peripherals.
