Session Description
Microsoft Teams Basics When you have a place to create and make decisions as a team, there is no limit to what you can achieve. Microsoft Teams brings everything together in a shared workspace where you can chat, meet, share files, and work with business apps. This training session will get you up and going with Microsoft Teams.
Microsoft Teams Advanced Advanced Teams training sessions cover new features in-meeting controls, breakout rooms + pre-assigned breakout rooms, presenting using screen sharing and PowerPoint, new features in conversations, and integrating MS Teams in Canvas courses.
Microsoft 365 Basics Microsoft 365 Basics covers the Wayne State email, free/busy scheduling, and collaboration system. By the end of this session, you will be able to effectively manage your email and calendar and navigate to the different Office 365 applications  Word Online, PowerPoint Online, Excel Online, OneNote, and OneDrive.
Microsoft 365 Apps Overview Learn how to use additional apps included in the university Microsoft 365 license, such as Forms, Sway, Stream, Lists, and more. Working in the web browser version of MS 365, we will go through the apps that can help make your work easier and more organized.
Microsoft Forms Learn how to build forms, such as surveys and quizzes, invite others to participate using almost any web browser or mobile device, see results in real-time, evaluate responses with built-in analytics, and export results to Excel for further analysis!

Workshops

Together with our Enterprise Applications team, C&IT Training offers workshops that can be tailored to a school, college, or departments' specific needs. These workshops are designed to help Wayne State employees identify and utilize enterprise IT systems and services that can be used to improve their business processes or fulfill new business needs. 

These advanced training options are designed to help users identify the proper tool to implement with a project. Workshops begin with a consultation where the customer provides details about their needs, and C&IT recommends the best tool to create a solution. Users can expect to take away the knowledge needed to create a new business process that their team can own and manage.

Microsoft Forms/Power Automate  Microsoft Forms is an online survey creator and part of the WSU enterprise Microsoft 365 license.  
Microsoft Power Automate (previously Flow) is a platform that allows automation or reoccurring tasks. 
Dynamic Forms 

Make real-time changes to your forms based on user input, save customers' progress so they can finish later, on any device, and pre-populate data to reduce errors.  

Better experience and better data. Digital forms are a great step toward your paperless office, but don't let digital progress frustrate your customers.
