How do I change my preferred search engine in my web browser?

Follow the steps below to change your browser's default address bar search engine.

Microsoft Edge

1. Navigate to the Ellipsis in the upper right corner of the browser and select Settings.
   
   
   
2. Navigate to the Privacy, search, and services options.
3. Navigate down to the Address bar and search options and hit the chevron to bring you into the settings.
4. Use the drop-down options to change the search engine used in the address bar from Bing (default) to DuckDuckGo or your preferred service.
   
   
   

Google Chrome

1. Navigate to the Ellipsis in the upper right corner of the browser and select Settings.
   
   
   
2. Select Search engine from the left-hand menu.
3. Use the drop-down options to change the search engine used in the address bar from Google (default) to DuckDuckGo or your preferred service.
