What wireless network should I use for my device?

C&IT recommends using WSU-SECURE whenever accessible, including on mobile devices. The secure network is the safest, most simple and widely available network. Learn how to set up your device on our KnowledgeBase.

To get the best connection, delete whichever networks you are not using so your device automatically connects to your preferred network. If your gaming device, smart TV or other internet capable device is not compatible with the authenticated WSU-SECURE wireless network, you may register your device to connect to WSU-LIMITED at tech.wayne.edu/deviceregistration.

Below is a list of commonly used devices organized by those which can connect to the secure network and which will require a device exception. WSU cannot test every device on the market, so this information is only a starting point.
