How to search course content in Canvas
The Search Course Content option allows instructors to quickly search and find specific content within their course such as quizzes, assignments, etc.
Note: Course Tools option must be enabled in the Course navigation menu before performing the steps. You can enable it by following the steps below :
- Navigate to Settings in your Canvas course and click the Navigation tab at the top
- Scroll down until you find the "Course Tools" options, and then click the three dots and click +Enable
- Click Saveat the bottom to save your changes
How to access the Search Content feature
- In your course select the Course Tools option
- Select Search All Course Content
- Click Search to perform the search.
Note: You can search the course using Word of Phrase such as 'Quiz' or select any of the following options available.
