How do I approve or deny a request in the WSU Absence Requests Calendar?
Follow the steps below to approve or deny a time-off request in the WSU Absence Requests Calendar. Only employees in management roles with employees who directly report to them can approve or deny requests.
- When one of your employees submits an absence request, you will receive notification via email from absencerequests@wayne.edu. The subject line will read Employee Name â Absence Type.
- Verify via the email that the employee has the banked hours required for the request and click Approve or Decline in the email.
- Once you submit your response, a new browser will open saying your response has been recorded.
- You will receive email confirmation.
