What should I do if my channel scan fails?
When you connect your TV using a coaxial cable, you must run a channel scan before you can access the Xfinity cable channels in housing buildings. This process may not work correctly the first time. If your channel scan fails, follow the steps below:
- Make sure the coaxial cable is connected securely into the television and the wall.
- Unplug the TV.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Plug the TV back in.
- Run the channel scan again.
