Internship program

The C&IT Internship Program is a multi-year employment opportunity for undergraduate students in related fields of study that offers real-life experience for students while supporting professional development for C&IT full-time employees.

Interns are placed in one assignment at a time, and they are scheduled on a semester, academic year, or project timeline basis. Interns rotate assignments to get a thorough introduction to all eight C&IT teams. Most interns begin at the Help Desk for basic training and understanding of C&IT services.

The C&IT Internship Program offers professional development for existing employees via committee, supervisor, and mentorship roles.

The program includes all C&IT interns and associated assignments and/or job shadowing opportunities across all C&IT teams. It does not include all student assistant positions. It does not currently include course credit.

The C&IT Internship Program supports academic excellence and the College to Career initiative.
