All use of Wayne State technology—on campus or remote—must follow the Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources Policy. If you are using personal devices to access Wayne State technology systems and services, please make sure your operating system is up to date. These updates include security patches that protect both you and the Wayne State community at large. 

  • Private home internet is recommended over public services. If connecting to a public network, use the VPN
  • University-managed devices should be used for university operations whenever possible.
