Submit proposals to present at the 2025 Michigan Canvas Users Conference

Wayne State faculty and academic staff are encouraged to submit their proposals to present at the upcoming Michigan Canvas Users Conference on Friday, October 24, hosted by Washtenaw Community College (WCC).

Submissions are due by Friday, June 20, and may focus on one of the following topics or another relevant focus area of the presenter's choice.

  • Creating global and experiential learning opportunities
  • Designing accessible courses with multiple forms of student, instructor, and content interaction
  • Implementing outcomes and rubric assessments to measure program success
  • Intentionally integrating AI into teaching and learning
  • Strategies for increasing student engagement with peers and faculty
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation through Canvas Data and reporting
  • Using Canvas for student and instructor support services
  • Effectively rolling out and managing course blueprints

Presentations should be 45 minutes long, including time for Q&A, to ensure time between sessions. Accepted presentations will include one free conference registration code, compliments of WCC and Canvas parent company, Instructure.

The Michigan Canvas Users Conference is an annual gathering of Canvas users from higher-ed institutions across the state and is hosted by a different partner institution every year.
