C&IT implements new service management system
C&IT is phasing out our IT service management system, TechSolutions, and transitioning to a new tool called Cherwell Service Management beginning Monday, Sept. 24. Any open tickets that have been logged with C&IT may be given a new ID number as they are migrated to the new tool. System generated emails from the new tool will be addressed from firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any forms that you currently use to report IT incidents or request C&IT services are now in Cherwell. You will still be able to access these forms at tech.wayne.edu/forms or directly from the Cherwell customer portal at csm.wayne.edu, but any TechSolution pages that you have bookmarked in your browser or saved to your desktop will need to be updated.
