C&IT, OTL empower faculty to add classes to Microsoft Teams
Wayne State University faculty members can now add their class roster(s) to Microsoft Teams with the click of a single button inside Canvas. Computing & Information Technology and the Office for Teaching & Learning created the new tool to offer students and faculty more opportunities to connect remotely.
Microsoft Teams is a modern instant messaging client that is integrated into Wayne State's email and collaboration system. It allows real-time communication via text, audio, and video, and is free to all students, faculty and staff.
